ABOUT THE COLLECTION

James Watson set out to collect the most rare and beautiful fishing floats in the world. He amassed an extensive and beloved collection before his death in 2002.

Jim donated a beautiful variety of floats to the Lincoln County Historical Society. That collection remains on display and can still be viewed today. This website was made to educate the public about Jim's collection, glass fishing floats, and to give an online archive and dispay of his most prized fishing floats.

Certain floats have been made available for purchase with the aid of Jim's close friend Ken Busse and the foundation.

GRATITUDES

Thank you Ken Busse for your hard and devoted work, brilliant photography, and commitment to honoring Jim's memory.

You are a true friend.

Thank you to the Lincoln County Historical Society for documenting Jim's education talk which provided the videos for this site. We did not know at that time of the recording that this would be the only video documentation of Jim's love, knowledge, and dedication to float collecting.
